Pupils give feedback on each other’s knowledge, ideas, investigations, or presentations. They give two stars for what positively surprised them and what they liked, and one wish for something they would like to see changed.
This method trains pupils’ ability to evaluate and can be used to provide constructive and encouraging feedback.
Distribute the Two Stars and a Wish worksheet to the pupils, and explain what they will be giving feedback on and how.
Ask the pupils to point out:
two things that work well (stars)
one thing that could be improved (wish)
Pupils share their feedback with each other.
