Before the lesson:
Market research
Set the selling price
Introduce:
Profit = Revenue − Costs
And, if useful:
Selling price − cost per item = profit per item
Students decide on their prices and calculate potential revenue/profit.
Create marketing
Teams make:
Encourage them to communicate the regenerative/circular aspect: local production, using garden resources, reducing waste, reinvesting in the school garden, etc.
Organise the teams
Assign roles:
Give each team a clear task for market day.
