The students make a cartoon or poster about microplastics.
The intention is for students to obtain an idea about the consequences of microplastics.
Ask students whether they have heard of microplastics before, and if they know what they are.
Show one of the Videos on microplastics, or find a video in the students’ own language for better understanding.
Students aged 10-12 make a cartoon about Micro-Mike: Micro-Mike is a micro fibre/microplastic that travels from a sweater in the washing machine, through the sewer into the river, and on to the sea. He meets many people, animals and nature along the way. What are the consequences of the travels of Micro-Mike? Alternatively, for age group 13-15, students are asked to make an activistic poster on the journey of a micro fiber: What journey does the micro fiber go through, what places does a fiber meet along the way? What destruction does he leave behind?
Discuss with the class what consequences they have encountered for Micro-Mike/the journey of the micro fiber using the Presentation Bazaar method.
