Students give and receive feedback on their idea or prototype based on four feedback categories.
This method helps students practise giving and receiving specific and constructive feedback.
Distribute the 4-feedback worksheet with the four feedback categories to each group:
Likes: What you think is good.
Improvements: Suggestions for improvement.
Questions: Questions that arise during the presentation.
Ideas: New ideas that emerge during the presentation.
The groups take turns presenting their idea/prototype to the other students in the class.
Following each group’s presentation, the other students in the class write their feedback on post-it notes, which are then placed on the group’s 4-feedback worksheet.
When all groups have given and received feedback, the groups carefully review their feedback. They consider whether the feedback prompts any changes or improvements to their idea or prototype.
