METHOD

In – Think – Out

The students are presented with academic content, which they reflect on before formulating their own understanding of the subject matter (input-think-output).

The method trains students to process knowledge from videos, presentations, podcasts, etc., in various ways.

1

Distribute the See, hear, feel (worksheet) for the students to use for their notes.

2

The students read/watch/listen to an academic presentation, a video, an audio file, or something similar.

3

They are given time to reflect and make notes on the See, hear, feel (worksheet)

  • What do you see?

  • What do you hear?

  • What do you feel?

  • What do you want to say?

  • What comes to mind?

  • What do you want to explore or do?

Didactic tips:

  • The method is used together with the See, hear, feel (worksheet).
  • The method is used in activity XXX
  • If the presentation is long and information-heavy, pause the presentation so that the students can take notes along the way.
