METHOD

Round Robin

In groups, students take turns answering a question or challenge.

The method is suitable for sharing knowledge and ensuring that all students get speaking time.

1

Ask a question or pose a challenge that invites many and relatively detailed responses.

2

Give students thinking time and/or preparation time depending on the task.

3

Say who starts.

4

Continue until everyone in the group has shared their answer once.

Didactic tips:

  • Tell the groups that finish first what they can do while waiting for the last groups to finish.
  • Optionally, use the Random Groups method to divide the students into random groups.
  • This method is used in the activity XXX
