Students move around and quiz each other in pairs using question cards, which they swap before finding a new partner.
The method supports students being active while refreshing specific knowledge.
BEFORE:
Create a set of cards (paper slips) with questions and answers that students can use for quizzing. One question and one answer per card.
Give each student a card.
Ask the students to stand up and raise their cards in the air to show that they are ready to meet a partner.
Students pair up.
Partners greet each other.
Student A asks their question to Student B.
Student B answers and receives help and support from Student A if needed.
They switch roles, so Student B asks and Student A answers.
They swap cards.
They thank each other and say goodbye to their partner.
Students raise their cards in the air and find a new partner.
They continue until time is up or until they have met a set number of partners.
