The students move around the classroom and decide whether given food statements are true or false. They discuss their answers in groups and learn surprising facts about food, sustainability, and health.

The intention is to help students reflect critically on food habits, food waste, and sustainability, and to develop awareness of how everyday choices affect the environment.

Didactic tips:

  • To increase competition, divide the class into two teams and give points for correct answers.
  • Advanced variation: let students prepare their own “true/false” statements in small groups.
  • Possible follow-up: homework assignment – write 3 true/false facts about your family’s food habits.
