Diagram Posters

The students create a poster presenting one or more of the data investigations that has been done by pouring the data into a bar and/or pie chart.

The intention is to learn how to use the data collected and make it into visual charts to showcase findings.

Pick some earlier activities as the basis for this activity. Look back at the earlier research endeavors that students participated in. What data did students gather? Which conclusions came up? Example activities:

Divide students into groups using the Random Groups method. Demonstrate to students how they use excel, or other data entry applications, to make graphs and/or tables.

Provide the earlier data entry to the students, and assign some tasks around these activities to experiment with the application.

Students present their results in a poster or infographic.
