ACTIVITY

Bee the Change – Part 2

Students present their bee campaigns and engage in reflection to deepen their understanding and personal connection.

The intention is to encourage critical thinking about their learning, creative process, and real-world impact to empower ongoing environmental action.

Before:

This activity builds on Be the Change – Part 1. Make sure students have enough time to fully develop and carry out their campaigns before starting part 2.

1

Optionally, before having the actual presentations take place, you can decide to use the Dress Rehearsal method to help students inmprove their presentation.

2

Group Presentations. Each group presents their campaign to the class. Encourage them to share:

  • Their chosen topic

  • Their key message

  • Their call to action

  • Concrete results
  • Why they chose their campaign format

For the presentations you can use methods as: Phase Gallery, Expert Carousel or 4-Feedback.

3

Reflection. Students reflect on their work individually or in mixed groups using the Talking Stick method to ensure everyone speaks. They discuss questions about learning, creativity, personal impact, and future actions. Find the questions in Bee the Change – Reflective questions

Didactic tips:

  • Create a safe space for sharing: Encourage respect, curiosity, and appreciation during presentations.

  • Model reflective thinking: Share your own brief reflection to show that reflection is valuable at every level.
