This playlist should make students reflect on the impact fast fashion has on the world and give them the experience they can act on it and make a change right here and there. The different activities are made to raise awareness, to change their behavior, habits and attitude when it comes to fast fashion. But most importantly this playlist will show the students that they have influence and can make a change.

The students will work to find a practical solution on how to reduce their own textile waste and go from fast fashion to slow fashion.

  1. In the first phase, the students will be engaged with the problem created by fast fashion. (As a teacher you can make the choice to use the activity ‘The production of a T-shirt’ to the engaging fase and remove it from investigate.’)
  2. In the second phase, the students will investigate what the problems are and what the impact on fast fashion is on the world from child labor to the impact on our climate. (As a teacher you can make the choice to either let the whole class investigate everything or divide the class in groups and let them each do a different activity. If you choose the last option, make sure the groups present there activity to one and other. )
  3. With knowledge of the problem it is time to think about the solution, where the students in the third phase of the playlist will create a way to spread awareness.
  4. In the final phase the students will act by starting to make a difference and move from fast fashion to slow fashion. You will find a few activities from which the students can choose from, so that they have their own say in the final product and can start by making a change.
